Write For Gorilla

The secret to being a writer is in knowing how to put letters together to form words and sentences, which build a context to express a certain viewpoint. In this case, we’re looking for people to review films and write practical and theoretical articles.

If you’d like to write about films for Gorilla, simply drop us an email. Tell us who you are and what you’re interested in writing about, and feel free to attach a review or an article that you’ve written. Do NOT attach a CV. We won’t read it. Whether you’re a new writer or Mark Kermode, we’ll be interested in what you’ve got to say.

We have a tried and tested ‘anything goes’ attitude to the articles, but we can be picky about the film reviews. For example, we’re not particularly interested in mainstream titles, considering they get enough attention elsewhere. Gorilla is primarily a platform for short films, especially ones that are available to watch online.

We’re also looking for people who want to write about computer/video games (independent or free).
