This documentary about The Clash draws on interviews with the band and some previously unseen footage as it charts the rise, fall and self-destruction of the seminal punk group. The screening is also accompanied by a Q&A with the film’s director, Danny Garcia.
SCREEN SOCIAL – The Book Club, 100 Leonard St, Shoreditch, London, EC2A 4RH – 7:30pm – £3 / £2 online
Screen Social is one of the most eclectic and funnest (still not a word) film nights in London, with its mix of film and music that scratches those areas other film nights just don’t reach (I’m saying it’s good). Alongside the usual array of short films, they also have a screening of the Cannes In A Van, Van D’or winner 2011, Fixing Luka.

RE:VAULT PRESENTS FILM DEN – Underbelly, 11 Hoxton Square, Hoxton, N1 6NU – 5:30pm – £4 / £2.50 advance
You know what’s tough; not putting a pencil through your temple at the sound of Jessie J, and also raising money to make films. Re:vault is looking to try and make this a touch easier for London based filmmakers with the film den, which aims to help filmmakers with crowd funding projects and promote indie films.
