Attention lovers of great cinema! You are about to be disappointed!
Due to a variety of reasons too boring to go into here, the outdoor screening of Evil Dead 2 at Hackney City Farm has been CANCELLED! We know it’s short notice, but that’s life I’m afraid. The screening of Sam Raimi’s best film (no, not Spider-Man 2) was set to take place at 7.30pm on the 28th of July, courtesy of Magnificent Revolution and Gorilla Film Magazine. That won’t be happening, but don’t despair, just keep an eye on Mag Rev’s website and Facebook page for updates on a return to business as usual.
In the meantime, if you’re looking for something to do on a baking hot Saturday in London, what the hell is wrong with you? Anyone with a brainstem possess the imagination to come up with some kind of activity, go on a bike ride, or an outdoor swim or something. Better still, sit in a dark room and watch TV all day, that’ll show those conformists whose boss!
